Stop by Scribe Calligraphy Studio and Gallery on Main Street in East Greenwich, you will see Jane Parillo at work, lettering envelopes, creating fine art pieces or perhaps designing a custom wedding invitation.

Jane gladly greets and spends time with visitors, often setting current work aside to accommodate walk-in requests such as a personalization project or design consultation. People with a love for calligraphy often stop in, filled with questions, which she is always happy to take the time to answer.

In addition to the custom-designed wedding invitations and other bridal services offered in her studio, there are many more hand lettered invitations for various functions, which involve creating a one-of-a-kind design, often using handmade and textured papers, Envelopments and wraps. Envelopes are lettered using waterproof inks and she will be happy to custom match an ink color, often at no additional charge.

Her seating scrolls (for weddings and other functions) are exquisitely and meticulously hand lettered using archival materials to create a perfect heirloom.

While the wedding business is her mainstay, she loves to create one-of-a-kind fine art pieces for exhibits. She also will take on formal citations and certificate/award design projects.

Also in her studio/gallery are framed gift items suitable for many occasions, ready for purchase, as well as her exclusive line of greeting cards.
